As we age, the body can experience a myriad of changes in swallow function resulting in increased coughing, drooling, throat clearing, feeling of food sticking in throat, and/or increased difficulty with medication. I may have some solutions!

Dementia

Dementia can have huge impacts on not only the patient but family and caregivers as well. From early diagnosis to the late stages, with training and education, families can learn how to best assist with increasing the patient's comfort and participation in daily activities.
